Family Night

My parents are coming up from San Diego and we're heading here for some good 'ol family fun!

Busy, Busy, Busy

What is it about weekends that makes me feel like I need to do something? I swear I do more Friday-Sunday than I do the rest of the week, and come Sunday night, I'm exhausted. I've been working on an exciting (well for me at least) project that I really can't wait to show you. In fact, I already have the post written, I just need to insert the pictures! Problem is it's a very detailed project and I spent ALL day Saturday working on it but I'm still not finished. I was hoping to finish today but I went fabric shopping with E, visited another friend, then went to a baby shower. Needless to say, I didn't have time...or energy...to finish it today. Hopefully tomorrow because I reeeealllly want to be done with it and put it up in the house! Oh, and show you, of course :) Ok, ok, here's a sneak peek for those of you who just can't wait!

Anyway, here's the last piece of that baby shower gift I was working on. 

Think I may have gone too far with the ruffles, but I can't help it, they are just too fun! Hopefully I'll post the project tomorrow...
