One Month

Ok, I know I just blogged about her being 4 weeks old but really it was just an excuse to show her off in that adorable photo. Today marks her official one month milestone...four weeks, one month, really is there a difference? According to my husband there is. "They are two totally different things."

I digress.

At one month old, baby girl, you are already so alert and engaging and in my opinion very advanced. Hehe.

• You like to hold your head up as high as possible (as if to look us in the face) when you're laying on our chests...your neck/back muscles are strong!
• You can track an object or a face from side to side
• You like to listen when your daddy reads you a story
• You've recently started swiping more at things/people and you are starting to kick those legs a LOT more
• You still eat very efficiently and you're definitely eating more...hence the buddah belly
• You are still such a good baby; you don't really fuss or cry and you love to be with the "grown folk"
• You sleep about 4-5 hours at night which means I only have to do one middle of the night feeding :)
• You love to snuggle and love something touching your face...your hands, my neck, a blanket, etc.
• You are so sweet natured and easy going...we really couldn't ask for a better baby!

It's hard to believe that you've gone from this

in just a few short weeks.
