Remember the movie Baby Boom? Remember the part where she makes all that applesauce??
Well Mandy reminded us of that today while we were slaving away cooking up batches of baby food for our little ones. Mandy has this fancy shmancy baby food cooker that she's been wanting to use. So now that our munchkins are eating solids, we decided to give it a whirl. Mandy, her friend Jennie, and I busted out the machines this afternoon and got to cookin'. We also used two steamers and the food processor plus Jennie's machine to be more efficient. We ended up cooking sweet potatoes, green beans, applesauce, pears, and carrots...yum! It was super easy and cheap and lots of fun! Why didn't we do this sooner?!
(Yes, I know the labels on top don't match the foods inside...I got over it...you should too)
Looking forward to making even more! Hopefully the kiddos like it. Thanks girls for a fun day!

oh yay, solids already! that means STINKY POOPS! haha! also, there is nothing more disappointing than making the baby food and having the baby not like it...so frustrating! good luck.
